P.S.

Forgot another important memory....Boot Hill.
When one walks into Beck's back door....which should really be called the front door as it's the one that everyone uses. Front doors are a thing of the past these days. Well, one greets the washer and dryer, the pantry and......"BOOT HILL."
Everyone sheds the boots right here. By the time the sunsets in the West....the boots have piled high and we have boot hill. I was thinking....wouldn't that make a good story. There's left boots for the left foot...right boots for the right foot. Now , wouldn't it be fun to tell a little story about each Being who finally finds their own left and right boot to match and get the set onto the left and right foot ready to continue on with their journey? I'll have to do some thinking on that one.

mom trained us well...take the shoes off at the door!
the "hill" gets bigger every year too...seems like we have a new family member every year! = )

I imagine the shoe thing came from your mom and her mom going barefoot most of the time. Neither of us liked wearing shoes.
I looked forward to coming to your house for dinner. Been years since I've been to a 'single's' PAD. My only regret is....I didn't get to go in 'The Closet.' I did see it from the road though. You were a good host. Thanks for that memory.

Garlic and shoes - each has a similar rule in our house... Whatever is decided, whether to eat the smelly garlic or to wear the snowy shoes, it is imperative that all abide by the same rule.

That way everybody's feet stay dry and nobody can smell the other garlic eaters over himself!
